Agenda

March 10th, 2021 – Anniversary Session
“What Have We Learned?: COVID-19, Law, and Lessons for the Future”

Nearly one year ago on March 13, 2020, Harvard Law School shut its doors and turned to remote teaching and working. To mark the one-year anniversary of our shutdown, and in light of the fact that much has changed since the fall,  a one-time colloquium follow-up session was held on March 10, 2021, examining the question “What Have We Learned?: COVID-19, Law, and Lessons for the Future.”

The session delved into discussion and thoughts on what policies or legal changes we have seen emerge in response to the pandemic that might actually present opportunities for the future. Like the Fall 2020 series, this session had a particular focus on U.S. law and on the urgent needs of marginalized populations, low-income and unemployed Americans, and people of color.
